Operated by Wickenburg Community Hospital, the Fitness Center promotes personal wellness through a variety of services. Wellness can be achieved through responsible lifestyle choices, including  physical fitness and emotional, intellectual, and social well-being. We are committed to helping you develop a healthier lifestyle using these tools.

Our technology-driven equipment supports you in reaching your fitness goals, whether being strength-building or conditioning. You are aided by personal trainers, ensuring that your technique and protocol are accurate for your goals. Our fitness areas include interactive audio visual equipment, circuit weight training equipment, pulley stacks, free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes, and elliptical machines.

Dance Fitness: Each 60-minute class features a fusion of dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, and Latin-style movements set to popular music.  Join up and get ready for a fun calorie-burning workout!

SilverSneakers Classic: Move to the music with a fun variety of exercises to increase muscular strength, range of movement, balance, flexibility and activity for daily living skills.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and balls are used for resistance, and chairs are used for seated and/or standing support.

The Body Shop: Is an eclectic class offering different formats each session from full body workouts, upper body or lower body only, core, “boot camp” or circuit training to aerobic dancing, all set to lively upbeat music to push you and increase your strength.  Expect a challenging and fun workout encounter each time you attend.

Tone & Stretch: This moderately paced low-impact aerobic and resistance class is perfect for members who enjoy group exercise to music.  The format focuses on cardiovascular conditioning during the first 45 minutes and on muscle tone and strength, balance, and flexibility during the remaining 45 minutes using free weights, chairs and floor mats for additional exercises and to relax and stretch.  If you want a total body workout, join us for Tone/Stretch.

Yoga: This class combines several yoga styles into an eclectic mix of Forrest Yoga, restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga and Vinyasa. People of all ages and ability levels work to improve strength, flexibility and breath control using Yoga poses called asanas. Yoga enhances a sense of well-being, heightens mental, physical and spiritual awareness, increases energy and vitality, improves posture, and teaches the ability to relax and feel calm in daily life.

Zumba: Ready to dance yourself into shape? Come join this exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin dance-inspired, calorie-burning fitness party.  Zumba blends red-hot international music and steps based on traditional Latin dances for a joyous journey to better health.  Get ready to sweat & have fun with Zumba.

Zumba Gold: This exhilarating easy and fun class is designed for beginners, active older adults, and others that require modifications for their dance experience within the Zumba format of basic Latin-inspired Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, Belly Dance, Flamenco, and Tango for a safe, effective total body workout.
