Chief Nursing Officer
I’ve been in nursing since white shoes, white stockings, and starched uniforms were the expected dress. I’ve worked in large teaching hospitals and small rural hospitals performing a variety of nursing duties: medical surgical nursing, surgical ICU nursing, and house supervisor until finally finding my niche in emergency nursing. As a result of that passion, I was certified as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and trained in disaster management.
I received my BSN from the University of Maryland in 1971 and wanting to explore additional opportunities in healthcare management, pursued an MBA graduating from Nichols College in 1992.
I grew up on the East Coast but really wanted a warmer, sunnier climate so I moved to Arizona in 2008 to begin a new chapter at Wickenburg Community Hospital.
