I was born and raised in New York by parents who emigrated here from Europe after WWII. I spent most of my life in the Buffalo, NY area and then moved to the Hudson Valley, just north of New York City soon after getting married. Having parents that experienced lose and hardship, I was instilled with a strong work ethic and an appreciation for everything that was given to me. We wasted nothing and enjoyed all that life had to offer. Family and friends were bonds that we cherished as we knew they were things that could be taken away in the blink of an eye.

My healthcare career began as a Radiological Technologist (X-Ray Tech) in New York State. Afterwards I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Ottawa University and am now pursuing my Master’s degree in Population Health. Having worked in many rural and urban hospitals I grew to appreciate the small community hospitals and the personal impact one can make on individuals. It was through this love of community that drew me to Wickenburg Community Hospital in September of 2000.

During my time in Wickenburg my wife Dawn and I raised our three children here. They’ve since moved on to plant their own roots in Minnesota, Washington and Scotland. Though were empty nesters, we’ve been blessed with four amazing grandkids that we see as often as we can. Nothing beats spending time with family so the travel bug is in us. We frequently travel around the country visiting places and cities we’ve never been to before. The National Park System is one love of ours and we hope to visit every National Park one day. So far we’ve visited 217 with only 200 more to go. In addition to traveling, Dawn and I enjoy going to the symphony, concerts, hockey games and dancing.
