Audrey Jacobsen, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
I received my bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and Exercise Science at Nebraska Wesleyan University and my doctorate in physical therapy at A.T. Still University in Mesa. Before going back to school for physical therapy, I worked as a certified athletic trainer at a high school. I went into physical therapy because I love learning about body movement, helping people, and encouraging others to be healthy and active.
I am a Nebraska native that moved to Arizona for the warmth and physical therapy school in 2013. I worked as a traveling Physical Therapist for over a year in a variety of settings such as home health, inpatient, and outpatient physical therapy. I have worked all over the country, but when I came to Wickenburg Community Hospital, I fell in love with the patients, community, staff, and energy here and decided to be done with my traveling career.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, running, traveling, going to concerts and sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.
