Richard Shields, MA, C.C.C.
Richard is a speech, language, and swallow consultant.
Born and raised in Brockway, Pennsylvania, Richard received his undergraduate degree in Speech Therapy/Special Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He completed his graduate work in Speech Pathology at Kent State University with an emphasis in aphasia and dysphagia. After a year of clinical fellowship in California, Richard owned and managed a private practice in Warren, Ohio for twenty years. During that time he initiated speech pathology acute care services in three different hospitals. Since moving to Arizona in 2000, Richard has served Wickenburg and surrounding area patients.
Richard enjoys outdoor activities of backpacking, mountain biking, and snow skiing.
