Wickenburg Community Hospital and Clinics (WCH), and City of Hope Phoenix, have created an affiliation to offer coordinated, advanced oncology care to residents of Wickenburg and surrounding rural communities.
Through its clinical network, City of Hope healthcare providers collaborate with physicians in community hospitals and providers in primary care clinics to perform evaluations and propose treatment plans for oncology patients. WCH patients will have access to in-person visits at City of Hope and clinical telehealth services with highly trained, board-certified physicians. This will allow patients to receive treatments, chemotherapy, and telehealth visits close to home.
Providers in the Wickenburg Community Hospital and Clinics are able to assist in the treatment and planning for patients by utilizing telehealth services to conduct visits with City of Hope oncology specialists while the patient is receiving cancer care. This includes primary care visits, oncology follow-ups, and infusion treatments.
Whether diagnosis and treatment has already begun, or a patient is seeking initial stages of care, they can receive their care close to home. Patients who are in need of oncology services may contact the WCH / City of Hope Nurse Navigator at 928-264-6527 to inquire about receiving their treatment right here in Wickenburg.
