“I truly get pleasure and enjoyment out of helping people feel better. I think about that all the time. It’s like, ‘Why do I go to work?’ At the end of the day, it’s that I do help people feel better and have a better quality of life with the interventions and treatments I can do for them.” – Brian Siegel, MD, board-certified anesthesiologist.
Dr. Brian Siegel, a dedicated and experienced pain management specialist and board-certified anesthesiologist, has been serving patients with compassion and expertise since 1996. Born and raised in Arkansas, Dr. Siegel completed his medical school, internship, and residency in anesthesia before evolving into an interventional pain management specialist. His career path naturally progressed from performing anesthesia to specializing in regional techniques, where he discovered a talent for precision needle placement. This skill set the foundation for his transition to interventional spine procedures.
Dr. Siegel currently practices at Wickenburg Community Hospital, where he specializes in interventional spine procedures. His work focuses on treating neck, arm, low back, and leg pain, aiming to alleviate discomfort and improve quality of life for his patients. By performing a variety of procedures, Dr. Siegel strives to prevent surgical intervention whenever possible. He is also passionate about regenerative medicine, utilizing the body’s own stem cells to regenerate soft tissue and cartilage, enhancing function and well-being.
Dr. Siegel finds immense satisfaction in helping patients feel better and improving their quality of life. His dedication to patient care is rooted in the pleasure and enjoyment he derives from making a positive impact on the lives of those he treats. For him, the ultimate reward is witnessing the transformation in his patients’ well-being as a result of his interventions.
Having worked in both urban and rural healthcare settings, Dr. Siegel has developed a deep appreciation for the sense of community and connection found in rural areas. He began his career in a large hospital system in Little Rock, Arkansas, but soon found his true calling in smaller, critical access hospitals like those in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Sydney, Nebraska and Wickenburg, Arizona. In these close-knit communities, he values the opportunity to build relationships with patients and staff, creating a fulfilling and comfortable working environment.
When he’s not busy improving patient outcomes, Dr. Siegel enjoys a variety of outdoor activities. His hobbies include playing golf, fly fishing, and deep-sea fishing. Living in Steamboat Springs provides ample opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors with his two dogs. These activities reflect his love for nature and the joy he finds in life’s simple pleasures.
