“I have always been attracted to the idea of improving patients’ surgical experiences or everyday lives through new and emerging pain management techniques. I don’t believe that pain should ever overpower one’s enjoyment of life, and I will do everything I can to prevent that.” – Lee Webber, DNP/CRNA, board-certified nurse anesthesiologist.
Dr. Lee Webber, a highly skilled board-certified nurse anesthesiologist specializing in acute and chronic pain management, has been serving patients in rural America since 2012. Born and raised in the Midwest, her interest in treating pain started while she was still a student in anesthesia school, when she noticed a marked difference in the postoperative pain between patients receiving nerve blocks versus those who did not, and she sought out clinical experiences that would specifically grow her skills in image-guided needle placement.
Dr. Webber has continued to expand her clinical repertoire in both Acute and Chronic pain management through the years, and holds a deep commitment to current evidence-based practice. She holds active licenses in Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, and Texas, and is a member of several anesthesia and pain management organizations.
Dr. Webber currently practices at Wickenburg Community Hospital, where she specializes in interventional spine, joint, and soft tissue injections. Her practice primarily focuses on treating chronic low back pain, sciatica, and shoulder, hip, and knee pain. She uses a variety of interventional injection procedures to improve pain symptoms in patients wanting to avoid surgery (or who are not surgical candidates for various reasons), bridge the gap to surgery, or relieve pain symptoms remaining after surgery.
Growing up in rural Nebraska and living in several other small Midwestern towns throughout her adult life, Dr. Webber has a particular love and appreciation for smaller communities, and prefers to care for patients in those settings. She loves the more personal feel of the staff and facilities, as well as the ability to spend more time with her patients in a less hurried environment.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Webber enjoys spending time with her family (spouse and 3 children), watching basketball, playing piano, and going to movies in the theater.
