At Wickenburg Community Hospital, care goes beyond treatment—it’s rooted in compassion, connection, and a deep commitment to the people who make up our community, including those who call Wickenburg home throughout the seasons. We believe patient-centered care means listening closely, acting quickly, and walking alongside each individual every step of the way. Larry’s story is a powerful reminder of what can happen when dedication and heart come together at just the right moment.
“Hi Liz (Lizbeth Marquez, MMS, PA-C, Family Medicine), this is Larry (Lyman) K., whom you saw in March of 2026 for a kidney problem. I just wanted to thank you for your dedication, compassion, and willingness to help a stranger in need. I was truly blown away by your perseverance in getting my issue resolved.
Because of you, within three days of our visit, I was sitting in the office of Dr. Ting—one of the top doctors in the Phoenix area—finally getting answers and a plan in place. Without your help, I would have returned home to Alaska facing very limited healthcare services, likely needing to travel all the way to Seattle—the closest major healthcare system—to get the care I needed. Instead, I was able to head home with clarity, peace of mind, and a path forward, which made my trip back to Alaska far less stressful.
Now, I know where I stand and what I can do to help slow the effects of my Stage III kidney disease. I can’t express how much I appreciate you. This has been the greatest Easter present I could have received.
God bless you and your family. I thank Jesus for the angel (you) He sent me—you. I am truly blessed.
Larry.”
On behalf of all of us at Wickenburg Community Hospital, thank you, Larry, for trusting us with your care. It was truly our privilege to serve you, and we wish you continued strength, health, and peace on your journey.
