WICKENBURG COMMUNITY HOSPITAL LAUNCHES WickCare MOBILE CLINIC To New LOCATIONS
WICKENBURG, AZ –June 5th, 2025, Wickenburg Community Hospital & Clinics (WCH) is thrilled to announce the launch of WickCare Mobile Clinic, bringing high-quality primary care directly to its rural communities. Starting this June, residents in Yarnell and Aguila will have access to expert healthcare services just steps from their doors.
Residents can visit the WickCare Mobile Clinic at the following locations each month:
Comprehensive Care at Your Fingertips
The WickCare Mobile Clinic provides and emphasizes quality care close to home, offering a wide range of essential primary care services for individuals and families. Services include, but are not limited to:
Making Healthcare Convenient and Accessible
WickCare Mobile Clinic helps eliminate long drives to distant medical facilities, a challenge faced by many rural residents. With a team of skilled medical providers, WickCare is providing healthcare closer to home, which is more than just convenient, it enhances the overall quality of care. By offering services in familiar environments, it reduces stress and anxiety for patients, creating a sense of comfort that fosters faster recovery and lowers the risk of infection. This method of care harkens back to the good ol’ days when providers made house calls, developing strong relationships with their patients. It allows providers to see firsthand how and where patients live, enabling more personalized care tailored to their unique circumstances. It’s a return to a patient-centered model where the focus is on delivering compassionate, high-quality healthcare that truly meets individual needs.
“With our large service area, it’s not unusual for our patients to travel up to a hundred miles to see a provider. Patients give up hours out of their day and spend money on gas for a 20-minute appointment with their doctor.” Says Peter Stachowicz, COO, “We know this is difficult for many and healthcare should not be a hardship. It should be accessible and local. We are so pleased that we can now bring healthcare to our most rural communities that is convenient, prompt and comprehensive”
A Project Powered by Community Support
This initiative would not have been possible without support from the Wickenburg Community Hospital Foundation, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, which provided funding for the WickCare Mobile Clinic through an Emergency Rural Health Care Grant.
